Description


USP seeks a Sr Business Development Manager to serve as a key member of the Global Business Development team focused on growth within our Federal Practice (US Government funded opportunities within the US). This position will work across cross-functional teams in the US to successfully execute USPs US Government public health business growth strategy. This is an excellent opportunity for someone familiar with the US government public health ecosystem to provide proposal management in several core areas. The Sr Business Development Manager will apply their knowledge about medical countermeasures, supply chain resilience, medicine quality, emerging therapies and advanced manufacturing processes for pharmaceuticals and vaccines. This position offers the opportunity to learn about emerging trends, key government initiatives and priorities. The successful candidate will seek the opportunity to be creative and entrepreneurial with respect to new business and strategic partnerships.


The Sr Business Development Manager will spearhead activities across the full business development lifecycle with a focus on the following: intelligence gathering on new UGS opportunities; networking with USG key personnel and partners under the guidance of the Senior Director, effectively managing the proposal development process from solicitation to submission; implementing and leveraging appropriate tools and processes to support the development of winning proposals.
