Job Title:Network Engineering Manager
Location:Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD
Security Clearance: Active, in-scope US Government issued Secret clearance (Interim Secret Clearance is acceptable)

Due to the nature of the work and contract requirements, US Citizenship is required.
Job Responsibilities:
The Network Engineering Manager shall oversee the continued operation of the global DKET network that enables the SatCom Terminal Remote Management and Monitoring (STRMM) capability. The position will require the ability to oversee and ensure all required ATO objectives are met and maintained. Other duties include:
Detailed knowledge and be able to review and recommend courses of action for planned and unplanned changes to the network infrastructure.
Detailed knowledge of GRE and IPSEC deployments and configurations.
Knowledge and familiarity with all current Cisco IOS-based router families.
Knowledge and familiarity of IP communications, including packet analysis.
Knowledge and familiarity with layer 3 technologies.
Knowledge and familiarity with layer 2 technologies.
Have network troubleshooting skills and detailed understanding of large-scale networks.
Have technical documentation skills.
A sound knowledge of IP networking, SIPRNet, NIPRNet, cross domain solutions, and security systems such as HBSS.
Be familiar with the feature sets and capability enhancements installed on the core routers required to complete circuit connectivity and critical to maintenance of the theater network.
Knowledge and understanding of existing circuit routing and voice capabilities in theater that are required to ensure that not only Voice over the SIPR (VOSIP), but all service connectivity is maintained.
Knowledge to installation, operation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of IP network, and fiber distribution systems. functions that include designing, installing, configuring, maintaining, troubleshooting, and diagnosing of network infrastructure and its application components for CJTF, ARCENT, and collation partner networks.
Must have a valid passport to travel CONUS and OCONUS when needed.
Minimum Qualifications:
A minimum of s even (7) years of experience in network engineering.
Have the following required certifications: Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or higher.
