eCommerce Marketplace Specialist (ECCXI)

Job description

ECCXI is looking for an eCommerce specialist who loves working within the Amazon and other eCommerce marketplaces to help grow our business. The ideal candidate loves data and spreadsheets. As an eCommerce Specialist, you will be responsible for working with customers to manage and optimize branded content across marketplaces and websites.

General Responsibilities:

· Write clear, persuasive, original copy in a variety of formats and styles for multiple audiences.

· Edit and proofread product copy using checklist and format copy per department style guide and checks questionable details. Understand products and services, the target audience, and their competitors’ activities.

· Ensure consistency and adherence to Maytronics brand standards. Efficiently manage a large workload under pressure and tight deadlines.

· Communicates with internal and external customers for the best possible product presentation.

· Develops and maintains a library of current reference materials.

· Utilize data from excel spec sheets, per customer account requirements for auditing and updating

· Support digital content development, management of product attributes and content for all aspects of eCommerce partner sites, inclusive of item level detail, enhanced item pages, brand pages, category pages, etc.,

· Continuously monitor and perform site reviews to identify opportunities (category sorting, optimizing attributes, updating photos, enriching product detail pages) to deliver a better user experience and drive higher site conversion rates.

· Enter data on specific templates to submit to retail sites and company ecommerce site for approval.

· Perform ongoing maintenance for specific retailers or marketplaces to correct any inaccuracies appearing in product descriptions, specifications, images, etc.

REQUIREMENTS

Required Qualification:

· 2 to 3 years’ experience successfully managing eCommerce catalogs

· Knowledge of variety of Marketplaces like Amazon, Walmart, eBay, and other

· Experience with using seller central catalog and making updates based on current trends

· Strong analytical skills, attention to detail without sacrificing accuracy

· Strong verbal and written communication skills

· End to end project task management across multiple internal department

Preferred Qualification:

· Bachelor’s degree in marketing, sales management, or related field

· Understanding of what optimized listings look like and being able to make suggestions on how to improve listings

· Excellent interpersonal skills and experience working in a team environment

· Proficiency in Excel: Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPS, SUMIF formulas

· Video editing / Photoshop skills is a plus
