Job Summary
We are looking for individual to join our client’s team as Administrative Assistant. Under general supervision, assists in planning, organizing, and coordinating administrative and office support in various organizational settings and modalities to deliver health care and patient support systems in all CHS clinics and CHS administrative sites.
Job Description
- Act as an intermediary between the various CHS clinical services, administrative staff, and the Department of Corrections.
- Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled health appointments for patients under DOC’s custody.
- Under supervision, evaluates clinic production, revises procedures or devises new forms or methods to improve efficiency of workflow.
- Under supervision, assigns and schedules staff on basis of workload, space, and equipment.
- Submit and reconcile clinic production reports.
- Generate incident reports as necessary.
- Carry out administrative duties such as data entry, copying, binding, scanning,
- etc.
- Handle sensitive information in a confidential manner.
- Ability to handle a high call volume, receive and disseminate important.
- information related to medical services.
- Other duties as deem necessary.
Skills Required
- 2 years relevant experience required.
- Experience in a correctional/medical setting
- preferred; Excellent computer skills required, including word processing such as MS word, MS excel and power-point.
Education/Training/Certifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- DOC and PREA clearance through facility required to start.
Additional Requirements
- Shift Time: M- F 8am-4pm, Weekends/Holidays as needed basis.
Pay Rate
- $35.00 per hour
