Job Title: Restaurant Manager- Locally Sourced Fresh Restaurant (Farm to Table)
Location: Carlsbad, California.
Salary: Up to $70,000 per annum, plus bonus and insurance benefits.
Job Description: We are a fast-casual restaurant in Carlsbad CA, that focuses on fresh, farm-to-table cuisine. We are seeking an experienced Restaurant Manager who can bring their passion for great food and exceptional service to our team. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of restaurant operations, a commitment to quality, and a desire to build a welcoming and customer-centric dining environment.
Key Responsibilities: - Oversee daily operations of the restaurant to ensure high-quality food and exceptional service.
- Manage all staffing responsibilities, including hiring, training, scheduling, and conducting performance reviews.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to uphold high standards of food safety, quality, and service.
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations.
- Control operational costs and implement strategies to reduce waste and improve efficiency.
- Regularly review product quality, modify menus as necessary, and research new vendors when appropriate.
- Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure the highest standards of food quality.
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally and promptly.
- Prepare and present reports on restaurant performance to senior management.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of management experience in a fast-casual or casual dining restaurant.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle customer complaints professionally.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations in food service.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask.
- Passion for and knowledge of farm-fresh, local cuisine.
