Job description
Summary
Perform a combination of cleaning duties and occasional manual labor to maintain the cleanliness and upkeep of a busy private school. This is a full-time position, and salary will be based on experience and references. A background check will be required.
Duties - Disinfect all high-touch areas - doorknobs, handles, railings
- Sweep & mop all floors and stairways
- Vacuum all rugs
- Remove all trash from offices/classrooms/bathrooms
- Refill all paper towels, toilet paper, and soap dispensers
- Clean all restrooms & classrooms, including locker rooms in the gymnasium
- Dust all visible areas as needed
- Sweep gymnasium floor & bleachers as needed
- Sweep & mop cafeteria floors
- Wipe & disinfect all cafeteria tables, countertops, microwaves
Requirements - Maintain clean facilities to make the school look great.
- Dispose of trash or waste materials.
- Inventory materials or equipment to ensure the proper operation of the school.
- Move furniture to clean.
- Decorate indoor or outdoor spaces.
- Select equipment, materials, or supplies for cleaning or maintenance activities.
- Maintain equipment or systems to ensure proper functioning.
