Job description

Job Summary:

The Coordinator of Outdoor Programs will lead outdoor adventure based activities for Radford University students. The Coordinator will train student staff and assist the Assistant Director of Outdoor Programs with the daily operations.

Required Qualifications:

• Demonstrated ability to lead a group
• Demonstrated experience completing outdoor recreation trips
• Knowledgeable about Collegiate Outdoor Recreation programs
• Strong interpersonal, written and oral communication skills
• Demonstrated skills using Microsoft Office and other computer applications

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience leading Adventure/Outdoor trips (climbing, caving, paddle, etc.)
ACA Swift Water Rescue Certified
American Mountain Guide Certified
