Overview:
The IT Senior Manager, Identity and Access Management, manages a team of people responsible for managing end-user identity, end-user application access, application resource access, directory maintenance, to include the user and application security lifecycle from provisioning to de-provisioning of access rights.
The position analyzes trends in access requests and evaluates requests to ensure security measures are in place and user access is appropriate, approved, and applied in accordance with Global Information Security standards and policies. The Manager organizes and conducts training for team, prepares procedures, monitors workload to make recommendations for staffing, and provides monthly metrics.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Manages account lifecycle management - determines level of expertise of the team members in dispersing of assignments, using best practice
- Applies knowledge on procedures, policies, instructions, and resolution of more complex situations
- Interprets and applies organizational policies and procedures, and recommends changes or enhancements to procedures or processes
- Applies principles and practices for Continuous Improvement
- Reports on status and progress of work, causes of delays
- Provides technical guidance on more complex issues
- Provides orientation, identifies training needs, and/or train team members, if needed
- Provides technical direction in the delivery of service to employees and communicates training and performance needs to team; uses various evaluation and feedback methods (checking work, problem time, etc.) to measure and communicate performance status to management
- Analyzes and manages flow of work tickets and make recommendations for reducing ticket volumes or improving operational efficiency and efficacy
- Generates professional presentation of metrics and reporting
- Works with peer teams to identify business and technical requirements for new projects/releases
- Acts as liaison, coordinating activities and resolving issues between teams, departments, divisions, agencies, vendors, etc. to maintain effective working relationships
- Develops and maintains relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including regulatory and compliance teams
- Managing and maintaining process automation tools (for example, PowerShell scripts) to perform repetitive tasks faster, with less effort and greater accuracy
Skills/Knowledge/Abilities:
- At least five to six years of Information security systems administration experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems or equivalent work experience
- Certifications: CISA or other security-related certifications within a given field are preferred (i.e., Microsoft Windows, Cisco, TCP/IP, etc.)
- Expertise in Identity and Access Management and Governance and software and solutions, and Mainframe /AS 400 Management, MS-Windows Active Directory and Active Directory Federation Services (ADFS), SAP, SAP GRC.
- Advanced-level knowledge in Systems Security Policies and Procedures; Systems Security Testing and Auditing; Systems Security Metrics.
- Intermediate-level knowledge and skills in Data Security and Risk Management; Systems Security Maintenance; Server Administration (Windows, Linux, etc.), Database Administration, Resource Management and Technical Writing
- Knowledge of Regulatory Compliance and Auditing.
