RISE Colorado works to Educate, Engage, and Empower low-income families and families of color to RISE as change agents for educational equity in our public school system. Position Overview:
Reporting to the Lead Operating Officer (LOO) and working in close collaboration with RISE staff, the Office Manager will be a key member of a high-performing team. The ideal candidate will be an entrepreneurial professional with strong technical skills, a passion for our mission, and great organizational and time management skills. The Office Manager will serve as the first point of contact for guests and families and will create a welcoming environment. We’re looking to add someone to our team that is energetic, detail oriented, critically conscious, and passionate about empowering families. This is a hybrid role working both in office and remote. Applicants must be flexible and able to multitask, quick learners, and demonstrate strong relationship building skills.
Responsibilities:
- Manage office operations by developing systems and employing communication structures that maximize efficiency daily.
- Serve as primary phone, reception, mail and online contact for the office, ensuring quality relationship building with external contacts and partnership stakeholders.
- Purchase necessary items for every day function of the office.
- Coordinate services such as office cleaning, building maintenance, and equipment repair.
- Data management and organization of files including workshop documents, receipts, and other internal documents.
- Monitor building security systems and manage building access.
- Manage Team Calendar with full team appointments
- Track budget to actual expenses, pay bills, code and reconcile corporate card expenses, and process staff reimbursements.
- Track donations and cash receipts, and responsible for thank you cards/letters, tax deductible letters, and data entry involved in fundraising campaigns.
- Track grant management information.
- Process contractor and new employee onboarding paperwork
- Coordinate all Informational Technology support requests for the team.
- Manage and purchase hardware inventory for the team.
- Manage administrative processes for team Zoom accounts.
Requirements
- Passion and alignment to RISE Colorado’s mission, vision, values, and culture
- Excellent culturally responsive written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Experience with administrative tasks and processes
- Building management experience is preferred
- Highly flexible, adaptable, and solutions oriented
- Access to reliable transportation
- Available to work some Saturdays and weekday evenings
- Strong technical skills including use of Microsoft Office Suite, G Suite, Adobe Suite, Zoom
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Willingness to learn technology such as building security system, copy machines, and computer functions that may need troubleshooting
- A constant learner who is optimistic and proactive
- High level of self-awareness, humility, and emotional intelligence
- Works well with both a team and independently
- Operates with integrity and maintains absolute confidentiality handling of sensitive information
Compensation & Benefits
This full-time position is offered at an annual salary range of $65,000 - $70,000.
