Job description
Job Summary: Berge Mazda/Volkswagen is looking for an Internet Car Sales/ BDC Associate to join our growing team! The right candidate will have excellent communication skills, be computer fluent, have a" phone calls are our friends" attitude and the ability to successfully educate customers on our vehicles and feature offerings. People with Call Center, Car Dealership BDC experience are highly encouraged to apply.
Compensation: $3,500 - $5,000/ month DOE base and commission
Hours: Full time 5 days a week (Saturday and Monday plus 3 other week days) 9:00am-7:00pm

Responsibilities:
- Promote and seek out opportunities to deliver a top-notch customer experience
- Interact with customers to identify their individual needs and opportunities for new/used vehicle sales presentation
- Work closely with the BDC Manager and other BDC sales personnel to ensure sales lead opportunities are accounted for and appropriate notes are made in the CRM
- Complete phone calls as assigned by the BDC Manager
- Act as a member of the BDC team, which includes cross-training for internet lead and incoming/outgoing telephone sales prospecting roles
- Stay informed about new products, features, accessories, etc., and their benefits to customers
- Attend product and sales training as requested by BDC
- Keep up with current technology and apps for sharing pictures and videos of vehicles to send to customers
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Quick learner able to grasp knowledge of vehicle packages and bells and whistles to then explain them to the customer
- Strong writing and reading skills to properly create emails and text messages to the customers
- Presentation skills to share information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public
- Mathematical skills to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, and commission
- Professional dress and demeanor. This is a customer facing position
- Pleasant phone voice and good command of the English language
- Previous experience at a Dealership BDC is highly desireable.
- Must be able to pass a pre employment background check and drug screen (not including THC)
