Position Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated, creative, and enthusiastic professional to join our Internal Audit team. As an IT Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in executing a risk-based audit plan to ensure the achievement of strategic objectives, mission, and vision of our internal audit function. This position, based in Rosemont, IL, may require occasional travel to banking and non-banking locations within and outside the Rosemont area.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct risk-based audits related to information technology, information security/cyber, business applications, and integrated business audits.
- Manage assigned audits and related activities to ensure timely completion.
- Develop detailed IT audit programs and testing procedures relevant to risk and test objectives.
- Communicate audit results effectively both internally and to clients, verbally and in writing.
- Collaborate with Internal Audit senior management in annual audit planning and risk assessment.
- Stay abreast of organizational, procedural, and technological changes within the audit entity under review.
- Assist in training and developing junior audit team members.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 6 years of relevant audit experience in public accounting and/or internal auditing.
- Solid understanding of IT and IS controls, processes, and risks.
- Knowledge of financial industry standards and frameworks.
- Strong interpersonal, leadership, and decision-making skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or related field.
- Relevant audit certification (CIA, CISA, CPA, etc.) required.
