Position Summary
The IT Associate is a self-starter who can be mentored into a technical expert, responsible for a
wide range of skills.
Participate in support, maintenance and troubleshooting of the enterprise Information Technology environment, both cloud and on-premise.
The IT Associate will provide end-user support and administration in a Microsoft Windows environment.
Respond to queries, run diagnostic programs, isolate problems, implement solutions, and provide recommendations. Participate in IT infrastructure projects. A background in troubleshooting Information Technology systems is required.
Primary Job Responsibilities
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft software, cloud based and on-premise.
- Provide Tier 1 technical assistance to end users for incoming queries and issues related to computer systems, software, hardware, network, VOIP phones, and company services.
- Create or maintain detailed, accurate documentation.
- Work closely with Tier 2 & Tier 3 team members while contributing to peer teams and project efforts, visioning and goal setting, championing technology solutions and continuous improvement.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE
Education/Professional Qualifications Required for the Position:
- High school diploma or equivelency
- Basic certifications are a plus!
Additional Important Requirements
- Able to perform duties effectively in a fast paced environment; working independently or under direction
- Minimal travel may be required
- Given the criticality of the corporate network, business systems, and applications. All IT staff members must be reachable and effectively communicate with both IT Staff and Management while out of the office by phone, email or text if needed. If a staff member cannot be reached, the member must return messages, either voice, text or email promptly. Every effort to will be made to ensure that communications to IT Staff after hours is reserved for critical issues (as deemed by the IT Manager as well as Senior Management).
