Job description

Remote Senior Developer needs 2 years of professional development experience including agile engineering practices like sprint planning, retrospectives and demos.
Remote Senior Developer requires:
-A Bachelor's degree in a Technology-related field such as Computer Science, MIS, Software Development, or similar.
-Remote but local to Baltimore, MD
-Minimum 2 years of professional development experience including agile engineering practices like sprint planning, retrospectives and demos.
-Core programming knowledge (JavaScript, Python etc.) to implement integration logic and a strong fundamental understanding of data structures.
-Passion for producing clean, error-free code and proactively identifying potential issues.
-Prior experience with developing in an automated decision engine such as Blaze, PowerCurve, Zoot, or Provenir is a strong plus.
-Familiarity with Swagger-OAS and/or RAML for API specification is a plus.
-Good communication skills with both technical and non-technical team members.
-Passion for continuous learning and continuous improvement is a must.
Remote Senior Developer duties:
-Meet with credit analysts and data scientists to understand desired business intent and translate functional intent into user stories and testable component designs.
-Implement credit strategies and rules into an automated decision engine
-Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that credit strategy implementations align with business needs and target state architecture.
-Design and develop RESTful APIs and functional tests using various frameworks.
-Provide research and problem resolution in an accurate and timely manner.
-Assist in writing technical documentation for our decision engine implementation.
-Work in agile, rapid development and prototyping environment.
Employment Type: Full-Time
Salary: $ 150.00 Per Hour
