Job description
St. Luke's Health System is seeking a BC/BE physician (family medicine, or emergency medicine) to lead our growing and collegial urgent care team in Nampa, ID.
This full time (1.0 FTE) position is responsible for the clinical operations of the Urgent Care site under the supervision of the System Medical Director of Urgent Care and includes: full time clinical practice consisting of 36 direct patient contact hours per week within the urgent care, oversight of APPs, and additional billable administrative hours (on average 5 - 8 per month).
Our team is currently comprised of several APP's who cover multiple locations within the greater Boise area.
At our Nampa UC clinic, as with our other urgent care clinics across the health system, patient scope includes a variety of adult and pediatric illnesses and injuries, including but not limited to, simple fractures, lacerations, colds and flu, and other medical conditions not requiring emergency room care. The clinic is open 7 days per week from 8am-10pm.
The Nampa Urgent Care has a full complement of ancillary services including laboratory and imaging, and is supported by RN's and CMA's.
