Summer Camp Instructor (Part-time) - Summer Camp - Bethesda, MD Area $20.00 per hour

AlphaBEST Education, a leading provider of after-school and summer programs, will be offering summer camps in the Bethesda, MD area.

At AlphaBest, our students are filled with curiosity and wonder! As their guide , you'll help lead them through fun learning activities, with plenty of support and training.

Locations:

Mater Dei School - 9600 Seven Locks Road, Bethesda, MD 20817

The Woods Academy - 6801 Greentree Road, Bethesda MD 20817

Schedule: Training starts 5-29-24

Camp Dates: Mater Dei 6-10 through 8-16 (10 weeks)

The Woods Academy - 6-17-24 through 8-9-24 (8 weeks)

Camp Hours: 3:00 pm - 6:00 pm (Work hours 2:30 pm - 6:30 pm)

• As a Summer Instructor, you'll be trained to do the following:

  • Work collaboratively with peers to ignite children's sense of wonder.
  • Encourage creativity and intellectual curiosity by building on students' interests and talents.
  • Provide a caring, family-oriented environment where positive staff, child, and parent relationships are fostered.
  • Facilitate the summer curriculum that is provided
  • Have fun!

What you will need:

• Experience leading a group of children in a structured or classroom setting
• Current certifications in CPR, First Aid, & Medication Administration (if you do not have these, we will provide training for you)
• Ability to communicate with both children and adults
• Reliability & Flexibility
• High School or GED Diploma
