Medical Assistant
HealthCare Support is actively seeking a
Medical Assistant to fill an opening with a prestigious healthcare company in
Venice, FL. Daily Responsibilities for Medical Assistant: - Will be taking temperature, oximetry readings/normal blood oxygen saturation level, vitals, weight, drawing blood, performing blood pressure checks, and rooming patients
- Responsible for phlebotomy, laboratory testing, quality control, instrument troubleshooting, and maintenance. Looking for a quick learner who can adapt to a fast-paced environment
- Phlebotomy skills, no ports, be able to take blood pressures, and temperatures
- Shift: Monday - Friday, 8am-4:30pm /Onsite
Required Qualifications for Medical Assistant: - 6 months experience as a Medical Assistant or Phlebotomist in a busy medical office
- Experience with a high volume of patients - they see around 200 per day
- Experience taking temperature, vitals, weight, performing blood pressure checks, rooming patients, and taking patient medical history
- Must have experience with Phlebotomy
- Must have excellent computer skills
Preferred Qualifications for Medical Assistant: - Oncology experience
- Bilingual Spanish
- Ability to perform venipuncture
