Optical Assistant - Denton, Greater Manchester, Monday to Friday

 
My Client, an independent Optical Domiciliary Practice, is looking to recruit an experienced Optical Assistant to join their creative and dynamic domiciliary team in the Manchester area. They believe their success is down to their strong intra-team relationships underpinned by their respect for one another.  The ideal candidate needs to be flexible to carry out work across the different aspects of the business;

 
Pre testing
Dispensing
Delivering and fitting of glasses
Administrative work and telephone based customer service
Excellent face to face customer service skills

 
Most of their patients are vulnerable adults with a mental or physical condition limiting their ability to attend a community optician; therefore you will be visiting them in their own homes or nursing and care homes.  The successful candidate must have high levels of empathy, good organizational skills and be able to work effectively in this type of environment. The working hours are 8.30am to 5.30pm, Monday to Friday.  You must also be a confident driver and have held your driving license for a minimum of 2 years, as you will have a company car.
