Pay rate : $23.62 hr

Temp ( 3 months)

Job location :1501 W. Silver Springs Blvd., Ocala, FL 34475 or alternating school site locations

Hours : Monday to Friday 8 am - 5 pm

Qualifications:  Bi-lingual English/Spanish

Minimum -Must have a clear and current Florida Dental Hygiene license

• Must have a current/active CPR certificate

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Knowledge of dental terminology
• Knowledge of dental hygiene principles and practices
• Skills in using dental instruments and equipment and performingdental prophylaxis and scaling and root planning
• Ability to instruct patients in preventive dental techniques,
• Ability to communicate effectively
• Ability to manage time so can adequately treat patients but stilltreat the number of patients needed and in a timely manner
• Ability to work with dentists, assistants, student assistants andvolunteers in a way that promotes teamwork and the betterment of the residentsof Marion County

Duties and Responsibilities -: Serve as a dental hygienist in the School BasedSealant program. Provide dental assessments, take pictures of inside of students mouth for teledentistry, educate students on oral hygiene provide fluoride varnish treatments and dentalsealants.
