Job description
The company are a global baggage / automation integrator and are seeking a dynamic Test Manager to lead the testing efforts for their state-of-the-art automated baggage handling systems. You will oversee all aspects of testing for baggage handling projects, including developing test plans, managing test teams, executing tests, analyzing results, and ensuring systems meet quality standards prior to deployment.
Responsibilities: - Develop comprehensive test plans and test cases for verifying baggage handling system functionality and performance
- Lead a team of test engineers in executing system, integration, and user acceptance testing
- Analyze test results, identify defects, and work with engineering teams to resolve issues
- Create and maintain detailed test documentation, logs, and reports
- Provide guidance and mentoring to junior test engineers
- Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies
- Ensure baggage handling systems meet all functional, security, and regulatory requirements prior to release
- Collaborate cross-functionally with software developers, systems engineers, and customer support teams
Requirements: - 5+ years of experience testing automated baggage handling systems
- Expert knowledge of baggage handling processes, equipment, and technologies
- Strong leadership, organizational, and project management skills
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Experience with test management tools like TestRail, JIRA, etc.
- Proficiency with scripting and test automation frameworks
- Ability to communicate effectively and build relationships across teams
- BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
