Job Description:

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated PharmD to join our pharmaceutical client's team. As a PharmD, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and effective use of medications for our clients. You will work closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide optimal patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

- Review and interpret physician orders to ensure accuracy and appropriateness of medications

- Monitor patient drug therapies for potential drug interactions, adverse reactions, and therapeutic duplications

- Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement treatment plans

- Provide drug information and education to patients, caregivers, and healthcare professionals

- Maintain accurate and complete patient records

- Participate in quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives

- Stay up-to-date with new drugs, therapies, and regulations in the pharmaceutical industry

- Adhere to all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies

Qualifications:

- Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from an accredited college of pharmacy

- Active pharmacist license in the state of employment

- Strong knowledge of pharmacology, drug therapy, and medication management

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work independently and in a team environment

- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills

- Proficient in computer systems and electronic health records

- Previous experience in a clinical or hospital setting is preferred
