Job Summary
As a Seasonal Merchandise Associate, you will join our Retail Services team in achieving successful sales and top-notch customer service by:
- Maintaining store presentation standards through building displays, fixture installation, store sets, shelf maintenance, down stock, retrofits, inventory reconciliation, display maintenance, and POP installation.
- Identifying opportunities for incremental display space to drive volume goals.
- Providing product knowledge training to store personnel with the intention of allowing them to better drive sales to the end user.
- Generating sales by increasing brand awareness and trial through direct interactions with consumers in assigned stores.
- Covering multiple stores daily and participating in promotional events in assigned territory.
- Assisting and monitoring customer satisfaction.
- Maintaining a safe work environment by understanding and demonstrating safe work practices at all times.
- Complying with all company policies and procedures.
- Completing other duties as assigned.
Required Skills
While our training will set you up for success, there are a few skills/experience you should already have:
- A high school diploma (or GED) and 1-2 years of retail or sales experience.
- A high level of initiative and a competitive drive to succeed.
- Professional communication skills and can communicate effectively across multiple audiences.
- Strong organizational and time management skills and strong problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work flexible hours (weekend and evening hours may be required depending on location).
- Ability to climb ladders and lift up to 60 lbs.
- Ability to travel extensively using personal transportation within the territory (overnight travel may be required depending on location).
