Do you have 10+ years of experience in financial leadership roles?
CrimsonXT is exclusively seeking a CFO to join an industry-changing, Series B battery material company. The CFO will play a critical role in shaping the company’s financial strategy and driving growth. As a key member of the executive leadership team, the CFO will be responsible for overseeing all financial aspects of the company, including accounting, financial planning, budgeting, analysis, and financial strategy.
Role responsibilities:
If successful, you will oversee all financial activities, including accounting, financial planning, budgeting, and analysis, to ensure accurate and timely reporting of financial results, as well as the following:
- Provide strategic financial advice to the CEO and executive leadership team to support decision-making and drive growth.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations, laws, and accounting principles.
- Manage the company’s incoming and outgoing invoices and payments.
- Develop and implement the company’s financial strategy in alignment with the overall company vision and mission.
- Develop and implement effective financial and operational controls and processes to manage risk and support growth.
- Prepare annual financials to undergo an external audit for the first time.
- Manage relationships with external stakeholders, including investors, banks, auditors, and regulatory bodies.
- Support fundraising activities, including debt and equity financing, and manage relationships with investors and stakeholders.
- Work with cross-functional teams to drive operational efficiency and optimize financial performance.
What we are looking for:
We are looking for someone with a Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field; MBA or CPA preferred, as well as the following:
- 10+ years of experience in financial leadership roles, including CFO, Controller, or VP of Finance positions.
- Strong strategic and analytical skills with the ability to drive results and make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex financial activities, including financial planning, budgeting, analysis, and reporting.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and resolve complex financial issues.
- Strong understanding of financial regulations, laws, and accounting principles.
- Experience in the energy, battery technology, or related industries preferred
