Job description
Rose Law Group is seeking an experienced immigration paralegal with 2+ years of experience. Requires a highly motivated person with an excellent attitude, outstanding time management and organizational skills, and the ability to work independently.
Skills/Requirements
· At least a 2-year degree in paralegal studies
· 2+ years of law firm experience in preparing immigration applications/filings
· Must have a friendly, outgoing personality with a great attitude
· Professional appearance and excellent interpersonal skills
· Strong command of the English and Spanish languages, grammar and legal vocabulary to create and send professional court documents.
· Ability to multi-task, prioritize work and meet deadlines
· Must be detail-oriented and organized
· Experience with form filling software such as Immigrant Pro or Adobe
· Must be proficient in MS Office
· Experience with case management systems such as MyCase, Clio, Docketwise
· Basic knowledge of processing with USCIS, NVC, State Department, and filing motions and supporting evidence with Immigration Court
· Federal and state employment knowledge a plus
· Ability to type 60+ WPM
· Must know how to operate general office equipment
· Ability to work in a high volume, team-oriented environment
· Ability to exhibit empathy and understanding for clients
· Requires lifting of files - applicant must be able to lift boxes
