Description

The Oregon Stater alumni magazine keeps alumni and friends of Oregon State University informed about, and involved in, the ongoing story of the university. It not only instills pride and connects readers to fellow Beavers, but also encourages their support of the university through philanthropy, volunteerism and other means. OSU alumni are the primary audience, but faculty and other friends and university supporters receive the magazine as well. Along with the Editor, the Digital and Production Manager makes possible some of the OSU community’s most important storytelling.

The Oregon Stater Digital and Production Manager’s key responsibility is to serve as an innovator, advocate and implementer for achieving the best possible flow of content to and from the Stater in print and digital channels, maximizing the magazine’s reach. This includes, but is not limited to, managing print and digital circulation lists, the main web presentation of the magazine, as well as social media, e-newsletters and/or other opportunities that may emerge. The Digital and Production Manager also interacts with advertisers and other college communicators, and assumes other production and business duties as specified. In essence, the Digital and Production Manager helps the Stater’s trains run on time so that we can effectively share the OSU story.
