The VP of Innovation will support ISACA in driving the ISACA Innovation Program Strategy, which includes leveraging prior experience and industry best practices in technology, strategic visioning, foresight, strategic thinking, and planning to research and inform ISACA’s point-of-view on trends and how they are being driven by emerging and accelerating technology.

In this role, the VP of Innovation will develop and articulate high-level implications of disruptive and emerging technologies to ISACA, its constituents, and the professions it serves in the short, mid, and long term. Using a variety of identified signals such as research, customer insight, trends, and experience, work with business units across ISACA to recommend opportunities for the development and innovation of products such as content, training, and credentialing; participate in research and product development activities and coordinate activities among ISACA departments.

The VP of Innovation will create and manage the annual output of ISACA’s innovation work, evangelize the implications of research with key stakeholders, identify, strategize, develop, and drive transformative initiatives, and champion the role of innovation by aligning overall business strategy with innovative thinking. The VP will work cross-functionally for external evangelism and will be responsible for defining and fostering a culture of innovation across the organization.

 

· Identifies disruptive technologies and how they will impact ISACA, its constituents and the professionals ISACA serves. Partner with appropriate development teams to create meaningful offerings in these spaces.
· Strategizes with Product development teams to transform general ideas into workable solutions
· Monitors research and development of other organizations to spot trends in innovation and supplement research findings in the company’s industry.
· Inform ISACA’s leadership team of emerging or disruptive technology, its impact and recommend when and how to act
· Develops and implementing strategies and plans that support the organization’s innovation efforts

· Hires, trains, develops, and evaluates direct reports ensuring staff maintain and have opportunity to develop knowledge and skills necessary to drive ISACA’s success as well as their own.

REQUIRED FIELD OF STUDY:

· Bachelor’s Degree in technology, or related discipline from an accredited university

 

MINIMUM YEARS OF EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

· 8+

 

DESCRIPTION OF MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

· Experience with emerging technologies

· Understanding of implications of emerging technology such as:

• Quantum Computing

• Artificial Intelligence (LLM, Generative, ML)

• DLT/Blockchain

• IOT

• Web 3

· Consulting experience

· Engaging technical and board-level executives

· Understanding of emerging technology in organizations and society

 

 

 

 
PREFERRED FIELD OF STUDY:

· Master’s in technology or business-related discipline from an accredited university

 

PREFERRED YEARS OF EXPERIENCE:

· 12+
