- We are seeking a skilled and experienced Test Mechanic to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing mechanical inspections, repairs, and maintenance on various vehicles used for testing purposes. Additionally, the Test Mechanic will be responsible for driving the vehicles during testing procedures and ensuring their safe operation.
- Responsibilities:
- Conduct mechanical inspections and diagnose issues on vehicles used for testing purposes.
- Perform repairs and maintenance tasks, including engine overhauls, truck instrumentation, suspension work, and steering adjustments.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical systems in vehicles.
- Maintain accurate records of all inspections, repairs, and maintenance performed.
- Drive vehicles during testing procedures, following all safety protocols and guidelines.
- Monitor vehicle performance and report any issues or abnormalities to the appropriate personnel.
- Ensure the safe operation of vehicles during testing, including adherence to traffic laws and regulations.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient and effective testing procedures.
- Will require 25% - 50% travel.
