Our client is seeking to add an experienced BAS/HVAC Controls Service Technician to support customers by troubleshooting and programming temperature control systems based on project specifications. Using your expertise in the commercial HVAC industry, you will perform installation and maintenance service on installed systems.

BAS technicians with the ability troubleshoot, install, service or program building automation systems are all urged to apply. Other duties related to assisting in the commissioning and servicing of building controls and facilities management systems. Compensation is competitive & commensurate with experience.

Responsibilities

• Program databases for all supported systems to meet specified sequences of operation and equipment manufacturers recommendations, in accordance with company standards and contract documents.
• Perform calibration and check-out of control systems and ensures that specified sequence of operations and commissioning obligations are met.
• Assist the graphics coordinator and/or provide the labor and expertise for the preparation and delivery of graphical user interfaces when required for projects.
• Instruct customer’s personnel on operation and maintenance of temperature control systems and energy conversation routines.

Required Qualifications

• Two or more (2+) years of DDC/BAS control system start-up, checkout, and service experience
• Valid driver license
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, control systems, building automation, electrical systems, energy management
• Programming and troubleshooting skills with KMC, Distech, Tridium/Honeywell, and other equivalent systems.
• Experience with pneumatic controls
