What you’ll do

As a Principal IT Security Analyst you will independently lead security initiatives within Security Service Delivery. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the technical environment, cyber security controls, understand service delivery in a large complex organization, and lead through relationships.

You will use your expert skills in partnering across multiple teams and stakeholders to ensure we deliver on time and with quality in a complex matrixed global organization. You will use your strong critical thinking skills to identify security risk and recommend remediation actions. You will guide the team to ensure that we are delivering services according to our agreed service levels, exceeding customer expectations.

You will have experience in streamlining services (i.e. user access) and handling incidents, problems and knowledge management. You will work with multiple technology platforms and interface with other groups within the Cyber Security organization, offshore partners, and other technology and business functions. You will drive the successful implementation of projects and processes aimed at increasing the capabilities of the team.

What you’ll need

We seek creative, security-minded professionals to provide hands-on expertise in protecting TJX and its assets. You'll work with end users, analysts, IT leaders, product managers, product owners, and other professionals to ensure our services are delivered accurately and on-time following our security policy while being mindful of risk.

• Experience partnering on security initiatives spanning across multiple Cyber Security teams including access management, data security, network/firewall security, certificate management, etc
• A Cyber Security mindset with a focus on prevention and limiting impact to the business
• Previous experience successfully managing continuous improvement initiatives
• Proven ability to partner with multiple stakeholders
• Outstanding communication skills speaking with both customers and technical partners
• Solid technical skills in operating systems including Windows and Linux, SQL and Oracle database deployed in both on-premises and cloud-based environments
• Agility with learning new technologies and applications
• Experience in partnering and advocating IT Service Management (ITIL) best practices across different organizations
• Developed skills in driving a strategy / roadmap

Successful Candidates will have:

• Senior level understanding of computer security concepts including Identity & Access Management, Application Security, and Incident Management/Problem Management
• 8+ Years in IT Security environment / IT Service Delivery / IT Quality Assurance Experience
• Proven track record of successful continuous improvements
• Strong deductive reasoning and critical thinking skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Intermediate knowledge of tools and products used in day-to-day performance of job responsibilities (e.g., Active Directory, SailPoint, Applications)
• Familiar with IT Regulations, PCI/Sarbanes-Oxley/Mass Privacy laws
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
