Job description

Position Summary

Make an impact in Minnesota this summer and support our students . Plan for a season of change and join Summer Impact Corps!

As a Youth Learning and Enrichment Fellow, you will support a local school or nonprofit’s academic and enrichment programs. You’ll lead summer learning activities designed to strengthen students’ reading and math skills while also completing a leadership development program.

 

We are currently recruiting for summer 2024. This is an AmeriCorps member position with Summer Impact Corps, and your commitment will be up to 40 hours per week beginning in June. Join a movement dedicated to leadership through service and get things done for Minnesota!

It Starts with a Passion

Our members come from all walks of life. Anyone can become a Youth Learning and Enrichment Fellow as long as they have a passion to make a difference — and meet the following minimum qualifications.

By the time they begin their service, our members are:

*Applicants who have received deferred action for childhood arrivals (DACA) through the U.S. Department of Homeland Security are not eligible to serve in our programs at this time. DACA applicants may be eligible for Americorps VISTA programs. For more information, click here .

While you’re making a difference, you’ll receive a paycheck (stipend) every two weeks and additional perks! As an AmeriCorps program we have both federally provided benefits and program specific benefits.

Summer Impact Corps is powered by passionate AmeriCorps members who are dedicated to leadership through service.
