WellSpan Health, an eight-hospital system serving the communities of central Pennsylvania, is seeking a Full-Time Certified Nurse-Midwife to join their practice in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania. The nurse-midwife will be joining a multidisciplinary OB/GYN group consisting of OB/GYN physicians, certified nurse midwives, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants. This community practice serves Franklin County and surrounding areas. Our strategy has been team-based and strongly focused on safety, value, innovation, and integration within our health system. About the Opportunity
Collaborate with physicians, other certified Nurse-Midwives, Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners, WellSpan Maternal-Fetal Medicine team
Full-time position; Full scope midwifery care; Inpatient and Outpatient
Perform Deliveries at Chambersburg Hospital with a Level 2 NICU
Passionate about growing our midwifery team and supportive of physiological birth, VBACs, labor tub, and wireless monitoring
Low cesarean rate
In-House Call responsibilities include management of triage-labor and postpartum rounding. ED/floor consults as appropriate. With the opportunity to first assist with C-sections if the applicant desires this skill.

Qualifications
Minimum Education:
Bachelors Degree Required
Masters Degree Preferred
Work Experience:
Licenses:
Licensed Registered Nurse Upon Hire Required or
Registered Nurse Multi State License Upon Hire Required and
Certified Nurse Midwife Upon Hire Required and
Basic Life Support Upon Hire Required
Courses and Training:
Appropriate Clinical specialty certification from American Midwifery Certification Board (AMCB). Upon Hire Required and
Graduation from an accredited school of Nurse-Midwifery. Upon Hire Required
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Considerable degree of independent judgment.
Excellent interpersonal/communications skills.
