About the Role

As a full stack developer, you will report to the Director of Engineering and support a team of software developers. You will prioritize projects to design, develop, configure, and troubleshoot from end to end according to Giftogram product needs. In this role, you’ll also work directly with our product designers to create a highly polished user experience.

What You’ll Do

• Maintain and improve the performance of existing systems by performing complex coding to written technical specifications
• Debug existing source code and polish feature sets. Recommend and implement process improvements
• Takes ownership of problems and issues, proactively working with business stakeholders
• Write, implement, and test frontend code using React
• Communicate with internal stakeholders on the status of deliverables
• Develop and maintain technical documentation

What You’ll Bring

• Bachelors Degree in computer science, information technology, or a similar field, or equivalent years of experience 
• 3+ years of full stack coding experience
• Frontend development experience (experience with single-page applications preferred)
• Experience with modern JS frameworks (React preferred) and CSS (styled components a plus)
• Proven software development experience in PHP, SQL and REST API design
• Experience with PHP MVC framework, Laravel (preferred) 
• OOP programming - comfortable building code that can be modular and reused

• Base Salary range: $90,000 - $110,000 + discretionary annual performance bonus
