Job description
Your traveler will be expected to:
- Work independently within two weeks of start date AND in a team setting
- Obtain blood specimens
- Maintain knowledge of specific specimen requirements
- Follow correct order of draw based upon tube type and special handling of tests
- Utilize proper resources for obtaining specimen requirement information
- Collect and enter off-site blood work into system
- Complete and process a variety of forms
- Obtain pre-authorization and patient signature
- Prepare specimens for in-lab testing or off-site shipment
- Ensure blood-drawing stations are clean and well stocked
Must have experience with all ages of patient population (newborn to geriatric)
Dress code: Personal scrubs of any color Local travelers (within 75 miles of facility) must be uploaded at a 10% reduction of posted rate per hour Requested time off during the course of this assignment MUST be noted and verified at upload. RTO REQUESTS AFTER UPLOAD WILL NOT BE APPROVED. NO MORE THAN 5 DAYS OF RTO WILL BE ACCEPTED (less is better).
Candidates MUST have their own form of transportation as this facility is located in an area where Uber and public transportation are not available. Non-Billable Orientation: 0hrs

Requirement description :
- Minimum 2 years CURRENT Phlebotomy experience - Required
- ASCP Phlebotomy Certification - Required (A copy of Certification MUST be uploaded with profile!)
- EPIC experience
- Travel experience - Highly Preferred
