Position overview

Are you interested in learning more about Planning in the world leading industrial coating resins company? We are looking for an experienced and solution-oriented colleague to join our team. You'll be responsible to develop inventory strategy and implement regional supply plans in line with business strategies to successfully meet customer needs. You'll also manage the team and the activities of the local production scheduling, and lead and coordinate crisis management within the region related to supply issues.

Responsibilities

• Support all LRA planning collborators to achieve agreed targets. 

• Maintain and monitor a range of planning performance metrics to drive continuous improvement.

• Lead/Coordinate S&OP process for the region. 

• Manage the capacity planning. Drive long term capacity and production plan in the region.

• Organize and lead the monthly regional SMOG review meeting for finished goods with business, manufacturing, quality and finance . Output should include actions tracking.

• Improve service to our customers by leading cross functional root cause analysis and relevant corrective actions.

• Work with regional, global and X-function teams in executing business strategy. 

• Ensures RM vendor allocation provided by Procurement is followed to ensure contractual agreements are meet.

• Implement global planning improvement action, ensure stardard process setting align with Global planning teams.

• Liaise with other Regional Planners for cross- BU or cross-region topics (supply, returns, etc.) 

• Utilize inventory optimization tool to review mix in inventory by using model and adapt stocking strategy in alignment with business strategies.

• Comply with all Company rules and regulations and corporate guidelines on safety and business practices. 

 

 

Required skills and experience

• At least 3 years of experience in production, raw material and/or supply planning, or other supply chain disciplines. 
• General business and financial knowledge required. 
• Previous experience in leading a team is desirable. 

• Experience within chemical industry is desirable. 

• Fluent English is required. 

 

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required ideally in Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering). 
• Master's degree is desirable.

• Equivalent industry experience.
