ChristianaCare is looking to hire an innovative Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Cardiology Consultant Team.
ChristianaCare Cardiology Consultants is a large practice consisting of more than 20 physicians and 16 advanced practice clinicians providing specialized cardiac care for residents in DE, PA, NJ and MD. This position covers ambulatory practice areas in Newark and Wilmington, DE. This job requires providing longitudinal care for existing patients of the practice, as well as establishing care for new patients to the practice as referrals or following hospital discharge. The job also requires monitoring outpatient stress testing, as well as interpretation of EKGs and applying diagnostic studies to the management of patient care. This is a M-F position, no weekends, no holidays.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:
Nurse Practitioner Certification - Acute Care certification required or Masters Physician Assistant.

Licensure as Registered Nurse and Nurse Practitioner as set forth by the Delaware Board of Nursing; or as a Physician's Assistant as set forth by the Delaware Board of Medical Practice.
Prescriptive authority for non-controlled substances in the State of Delaware; Controlled Substance Registration for the State of Delaware; Federal DEA Registration.
ACLS certification.
Prior cardiology and/or ICU experience required

At least 1 year of Provider experience preferred
