Job description
BAE Systems is looking for an experienced Mechanical Technician VI to join their fast-paced Engineering and Test team in Nashua, New Hampshire. You will be supporting a wide variety of tasks in the day-to-day operation within a Engineering Lab.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Performs a variety of duties in the electronic, mechanical, electromechanical, and/or optical areas. Constructs, troubleshoots, calibrates, adjusts, tests, diagnoses, and maintains equipment, components, devices, or systems. Works from schematics, engineering drawings and written or verbal instructions. Operates related equipment: conducts tests and reports data in prescribed format. Performs calibration and alignment checks: makes adjustments, modifications, and replacements as directed.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills - The ability to obtain a DoD Security clearance is required
- 15+ years experience with HS Diploma
- 3+ year with AA in Machine Tool Technology
- Proficient using CREO/Pro- Engineer software
- Proficient with multi axis CNC milling machines and lathes
- Ability to use Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills - Familiarity with machine shop environment
- Experience in the design and development of specialized tooling and fixtures
Pay Information Full-Time Salary Range: $83050 - $132880
