Remote Marketing Specialist Position - Open to Candidates in San Mateo or US-based Remote Locations

We are currently seeking a driven Marketing Specialist to join our dynamic team. This role will play a crucial part in supporting our marketing initiatives, focusing on generating new leads, nurturing prospects, and contributing to revenue growth. As a Marketing Specialist, you will collaborate closely with our Head of Demand Marketing, assisting in event coordination, analyzing marketing data, managing our contact database, and deploying various content across different platforms. We are looking for an individual who is detail-oriented, skilled in data analysis, and capable of working independently within established processes.

Position Type: Contractor (Approximately 10 hours per week)

Duties and Responsibilities:

Provide comprehensive project management support for marketing-sponsored events, including managing deadlines, coordinating logistics such as booth setups, printing and shipping materials, and facilitating lead uploads into our contact database.
Maintain and manage our contact database in HubSpot, ensuring regular hygiene practices such as spam removal, data enrichment, and assigning contact imports as needed.
Develop and maintain a monthly dashboard consolidating performance metrics across various marketing channels, offering valuable insights and learnings.
Schedule and launch pre-drafted emails and social media posts utilizing HubSpot.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, with at least 2 years of related experience, including 1+ years in a marketing operations/analytics role.
Familiarity with demand generation channels and tactics, preferably with experience using HubSpot.
Marketing or content marketing-related certification is a plus.

Compensation:

The US base hiring range for this contract position is $60/hour-$70/hour, with benefits provided through the contracting agency. Actual starting pay will be determined based on factors such as location, experience, and skill level.
