About the Role:
As a VP, Relationship Manager, your primary goal will be to foster new commercial loan accounts and deepen existing client relationships. This role requires a proactive approach in offering financial solutions to both current and prospective clients, increasing our deposit base through a variety of products, and maintaining profitable business relationships. Your responsibilities will also include credit assessments and striving to exceed customer expectations within regulatory frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:
Actively represent our organization within the business community, establishing and nurturing relationships with business owners, C-level executives, and Centers of Influence (COIs).
Develop a targeted prospect list of at least 15 profiles, executing strategies to meet and exceed individual and team sales goals across our business lines.
Manage commercial relationships by conducting interviews with applicants and gathering essential financial information.
Assess financial information to determine creditworthiness and make loan approval decisions within designated authority.
Recommend or present credits outside of lending authority in accordance with established procedures.
Monitor existing loans for adherence to terms and conditions and assist senior lending officers with complex credits.
Stay informed on market conditions and competitor activities, suggesting strategies to remain competitive.
Enhance client experience through comprehensive knowledge of all commercial products, facilitating effective cross-selling.

What We're Looking For:
A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in Commercial Lending, with a strong background in commercial credit underwriting, business development, and portfolio management.
Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently, take ownership, and demonstrate initiative.
Excellent time management, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
Strong analytical and decision-making skills, with a focus on risk assessment.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or a related field.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and familiarity with banking software such as Bankway and Salesforce.
A commitment to collaborative teamwork and building client relationships.
