Experienced Veterinarians, a leading animal hospital in San Leandro is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Veterinary Radiologist to join our growing team.

Key Duties - Interpreting and diagnosing radiographic images, including X-rays, CT scans, and MRI scans
- Performing a variety of imaging procedures, such as X-rays, CT scans, and MRI scans, and ensuring the safety and comfort of the patient during the procedure
- Communicating findings and recommendations with other veterinary professionals, including veterinarians, technicians, and pet owners
- Staying current with advances in veterinary radiology, including new imaging techniques and technologies
- Maintaining accurate and complete patient records, including radiographic images and reports
- Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards, including radiation safety regulations
- Maintaining a high level of professional ethics and standards, and demonstrating a commitment to the welfare of animals

Key Skills, Qualifications & Client Requirements
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited veterinary school
- Excellent diagnostic and interpretive skills for radiographic images, including X-rays, CT scans, and MRI scans
- Board certification or eligibility for certification in veterinary radiology from the American College of Veterinary Radiology (ACVR) or the European College of Veterinary Diagnostic Imaging (ECVDI)
- Strong knowledge of veterinary anatomy, physiology, and radiology
- Current veterinary license in good standing in the state where the individual will be practicing
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a focus on providing high-quality patient care
- Completion of a recognized veterinary radiology residency program, or equivalent post-graduate training in veterinary radiology
