What It Means to be a Reingold Communications Intern Reingold seeks a communications trailblazer to tackle a variety of assignments. This is no ordinary internship. At Reingold, you’ll gain hands-on marketing experience, hone your strategy and project management skills, and gain exposure to a wide range of industries. Our internships are great for recent college graduates, graduate school students, and anyone serious about pursuing a career in communications.
Interns work directly with experienced, passionate consultants and creative specialists on client projects. Duties may include drafting materials for clients, conducting outreach to stakeholders, conducting research, pitching to the media, creating social media content, assisting with event planning and execution, coordinating trainings and presentations, meeting management and notetaking, and other tasks depending on your skills and our needs. We’re all about initiative and encourage interns to make the most of their internship experience!
We're looking for interns with the following qualifications and skills :
- Entrepreneurial spirit and a positive attitude.
- Ability to communicate clearly and confidently, verbally and in writing.
- Capacity to thrive under pressure and to meet tight deadlines.
- Eagerness to learn by doing.
- Motivation to chart unfamiliar territory.
- Curious, creative nature.
Internships are full time (40 hours) during the standard workweek and pay an hourly rate of $20, hourly. The 2024 summer internship class begins on May 28th and runs through August 16th. (Note: There may be opportunities to start earlier, as soon as March 1.) Core hours during the internship are 9am to 5:30pm eastern. This Internship requires 5 in-office days (Monday – Friday) at our Alexandria, VA location.
