Main Responsibilities:
- Business Requirements Analysis and Translation:
- Gather and understand business requirements: Collaborate with stakeholders to fully comprehend business needs, challenges, and goals, paying particular attention to data management and utilization, considering the capabilities of Dataverse.
- Evaluate business and technology needs and translating that understanding into configuration of the software and technical specifications for custom development
- Lead the delivery of Microsoft Dynamics 365 solutions
- Translate requirements into technical specifications: Define clear, actionable technical requirements aligned with business objectives.
- Evaluate feasibility and identify potential risks and limitations.
- Solution Design and Architecture:
- Drive Dynamics CE implementations through all project phases including discovery, build, test and deployment
- Design and architect scalable, secure, and reliable solutions on the Azure platform.
- Select and configure appropriate Azure services based on project requirements (Data Lake, Service Bus, Functions, Logic Apps, etc.) with a focus on seamlessly integrating them with Dataverse.
- Define infrastructure topology, including resource allocation, networking, and security configurations.
- Design data organization and transformation strategies for optimal usability and performance.
- Implementation and Configuration:
- Be a champion/SME (Subject Matter Expert) for both technical and functional solutions across the Microsoft platform, driving the adoption of new features and technology
- Develop and implement C# code to integrate Dynamics 365 with Azure services and other systems, utilizing the Common Data Service SDK for efficient interaction with Dataverse data.
- Configure Azure resources and Dynamics 365 instances according to defined specifications.
- Automate deployments and configurations using scripting tools and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
- Integration and Data Management:
- Develop integrations between Dynamics 365 and other systems using APIs, connectors, and custom solutions.
- Design and implement data pipelines for data ingestion, processing, and transformation.
- Ensure data quality, consistency, and security across integrated systems.
- Additional Responsibilities:
- Maintain and support deployed solutions, including troubleshooting, performance optimization, and security updates.
- Document solutions thoroughly for handover and future maintenance.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and best practices in Azure and Dynamics 365.
- Contribute to knowledge sharing and mentoring within the team.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 10+ years of professional hands-on development/architecture experience
- Must have the "Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Solution Architect Expert " certification
- Strong proficiency in C#.
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles and design patterns
- Possess strong understanding of Dynamics 365 & power platform stack
- In-depth knowledge of all modules of Dynamics 365 CE , including appropriate Architect level certifications
- Experience in implementing End-To-End Large scale solutions involving Dynamics CE(CRM)
- Hands-on experience with Azure infrastructure services , including:
- Azure Data Lake for storing and processing large datasets
- Azure Service Bus for message queuing and event-driven programming
- Integrating data from various sources using Azure tools and connectors
- Building serverless functions with Azure Functions and automating workflows with Logic Apps
- Experience with Dataverse
- SKD, CDS
- Integrating with API's
- Strong understanding of security best practices in cloud environments, especially:
- Authentication
- Authorization
- Solid experience configuring Microsoft Dynamics 365 environments, including:
- User management and security settings.
- Customization and extensions.
- Integration with other systems.
- Understanding of configuration management tools, such as Azure Resource Manager templates (ARM templates) or PowerShell scripts
