Hilton Grand Vacations is seeking an experienced Director of Sales Training to support the East Region. This individual will be responsible for working with the Leadership team to develop, implement and ensure the use of an innovative global sales training program to acquire maximum sales efficiencies while maintaining high quality standards in a globally united format. Provide leadership through coaching, modeling, and reinforcing effective sales and customer service practices, behaviors, and results. Support the sales management teams for Action Line, In-House, Direct Sales and Showcase in meeting training, mentoring and reporting needs, empower, challenge and assist them, while growing the training department for the teams!
Additional Responsibilities Include:
- Ensure and facilitate the delivery of new hire sales training to include product knowledge: how to present the product, ethical/brand standards, customer service, closing the sale.
- Conduct, schedule and ensure all New Hires attend initial sales training as well as ongoing training.
- Partner with Sales Leadership and Sales Operations to develop and document refined processes on Sales training including the transitioning in the process from SE to Sales Leader, and from Sales Leader to Client Relationship Manager.
- Partner with Senior Sales Leadership to develop, roll out and continually enhance personal development plan for Sales population including trainings, online training, one on one coaching.
- Strategize and organize ongoing sophisticated training to support expert Sales Executives.
- Meet weekly with designated Team Members/Sales Leaders for the purpose of training, motivating, and team building.
- Participate in sales meetings, training sessions, and other meetings as the need arises.
- Ensure the understanding, dedication and adherence to all Sales operational policies and procedures.
- Partner and meet regularly with Sales Management to provide training feedback and identify performance issues for future training topics/sessions.
- Foster an environment of outstanding guest service for our owners, guests, and team members.
- Strategize with Senior Management to address Sales areas of critical need.
- Develop effective training along with L&D to enhance performance and achieve sales targets.
- Identify and implement resources that can be used for training sessions.
- Create/Use measurement tools (surveys, tests, focus groups, sales performance reports) to measure training effectiveness.
- Coordinate and thinking creatively to bring in external speakers and/resources to encourage the team and build personal growth.
- Maintain and deliver all current information on all new Envision, Chorus, and any other technology platforms introduced to the sales teams to ensure Sales team members are well versed and trained.

- High School Diploma/GED
- 2+ years in sales management/trainer
- Experience leading multiple Team Members remotely
- Strong presentation skills
- Excellent leadership skills and communication skills.
- Must possess high work ethic standard.
- Strong relationship building and collaboration skills
- Proficient at Microsoft Suite
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
- Ability to travel
It would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:
- Bachelors Degree
- Previous sales vacation ownership experience
- 3+ years relevant experience
- 4+ years management experience
