Position Details:

Location(s) : 325 Broad Street, Sumter, SC 29150 and 674 W Liberty, Sumter SC 29150

Schedule : Monday-Friday, 7:30am-6pm range with 1 day off per week / No weekends or holidays!

Primary Responsibilities:

· The Echocardiography/Vascular Technician provides quality diagnostic Cardiology testing, which includes Echocardiograms and Vascular Testing.

· Prepare patients for procedures, explaining the process and ensuring their comfort throughout the examination.

· Position patients correctly and apply appropriate equipment to obtain accurate imaging results.

· Operate echocardiography equipment and associated computer systems.

· Provide preliminary findings to the interpreting physician.

· Maintain accurate patient records, equipment logs, and documentation of procedures performed.

· Adhere to all relevant safety standards, protocols, and regulatory requirements.

Required Qualifications:

• Possess a valid ARDMS (American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography) certification or CCI
• 2+ years of recent experience as an Echo Technologist
• Proficient in operating echocardiography equipment and associated computer systems
• Solid knowledge of echocardiographic/vascular techniques, cardiac anatomy

Preferred Qualifications:

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients, medical staff, and colleagues
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced healthcare setting
