HR Corporate Business Partners are responsible for strategic collaboration with leaders to build and develop a strong workforce and align HR initiatives and functions with Famous’ goals and objectives. Primary Job Responsibilities - Build meaningful relationships with Associates to cultivate a safe, trustworthy, and supportive space
- Understand leaders’ staffing goals, develop strategy to deliver, then execute
- Support leaders through performance evaluation and Associate development
- Advise leaders on topics such as ADA, FMLA, and compensation
- Collaborate with leaders to increase associate engagement and retention
- Practice continuous improvement by reviewing and revising departmental processes and developing new processes as needed
- Analyze trends and metrics in partnership with the HR group to develop solutions, programs, and policies
- Provide guidance and input on business unit restructures, workforce planning, and succession planning
- Responsible for managing employee relations issues, including conflict resolution and disciplinary actions.
- Coach leaders on performance improvement and having important conversations
- Partner with leaders to ensure new associate onboarding process is executed
- Address Associate issues and conduct investigations when necessary
- Ensure that the company complies with HR-related laws and regulations and that HR policies and procedures are consistent with the company's values and objectives
- Lead HR projects
Required Experience and Skills - Human Resources, or related, experience
- Internal customer service mindset
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong planning and organizational skills to balance and prioritize work
- Recruiting and succession planning
- Effective communication and teamwork
Preferred Experience and Skills - Bachelor’s Degree Human Resources or related field
- 3-5 years HR Generalist Experience
- Knowledge of employment law
- Experience in an office environment
- Recruiting experience
- Experience in Microsoft Office and Outlook
- Experience in ADP WorkForce Now and JazzHR
