As a rheumatologist you will focus on adult patients, work collaboratively with the existing team of experienced providers. You will diagnosis and treat rheumatic diseases, and coordinate care outcomes. There are 8 exam rooms 6 infusion chairs, and a dedicated musculoskeletal ultrasound. The team dynamics are 3 full-time Rheumatologist, 1 Nurse Practitioners, 3 RNs, and 5 Medical Assistants. Including any additional staff that is relevant to this role. Relevant staff will be added to support the new physician.
Practice Information:
One BC/BE fellowship trained rheumatologist is being recruited to join our group in St. George.
X-ray and lab are adjacent to the clinic.
Reasonable call expectation
One primary clinic location
In office ultrasound and infusion therapy
Requirements:
Board Certified/Board Eligible in Rheumatology
Fellowship trained in Rheumatology
Unrestricted Utah MD or DO license or the ability to obtain an unrestricted license
U.S. ACGME Residency and Fellowship
BLS Certification

The city of St. George has a population of 99,958 and the county has 191,226. Over the last decade it has been one of the fastest growing communities in the country. The area is known for its breathtaking scenery and is the gateway to the nation’s largest concentration of national parks. Recreational activities for the entire family include boating, camping, hiking, backpacking, fishing, and mountain biking. There is a moderate four-season climate, and during winter months residents can ski in the morning and play golf in nearby communities in the afternoon. Overall, you will find sunshine 300 days out of the year. Educational opportunities are available through Utah Tech University (UT) and Southern Utah University (SUU). Summer activities include the Utah Summer Games and the Utah Shakespearean Festival, recipient of the Tony Award for Outstanding Regional Theatre. Southern Utah is near Las Vegas, NV (1.5 hrs.) and Salt Lake City, UT (4 hrs.)
