Location of Position:

Round Rock, TX

The Position:

The Staff Accountant will be responsible for processing accounts payable invoices, vendor payments, and aid in the collection and preparation of accurate financial information in order to reconcile with the General Ledger and other regulatory reporting. The Staff Accountant will report directly to the Controller.

Position Responsibilities:

• Prepares and records accounting transactions into the general ledger.
• Processes vendor invoices and vendor payments.
• Completes balance sheet account reconciliations.
• Prepares Reports and ensures the accuracy of the Company's current financial position, business activities, regulatory agencies, and the SEC.
• Supports the successful implementation and maintenance of internal accounting financial controls to enhance the accuracy of financial reports.
• Performs other related duties as required and assigned.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting from an accredited college or university.
• 1-2 years of accounting related experience required.
• Good working knowledge of accounting principles and practices, including GAAP and internal controls.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel/Google sheets required.
• Manufacturing industry experience a plus.
• Experience with NetSuite and Paycom Payroll system preferred.
• Knowledge of current SEC rules and regulations preferred.
• Skill at anticipating, identifying, and resolving financial issues.
• Ability to read, analyze and interpret financial-related concepts and procedure.
