Hiring Medical Device Associate in the city of Orange California
Mon - Friday
1st shift
4AM - 12:30PM
(Overtime usually required up to 2 hours daily + Saturday 8 hours)
$21.50 per hour
4AM-2:30PM with OT during week and Saturday shift only 8 hours. OT pay at $32.25 per hour.
2nd shift
12:30PM-9:30PM
$24.50 per hour
OT required as well + Saturdays
Temp to hire. Will receive benefits once converted to permanent employee. 401K, dental, medical, vision, PTO, paid holidays etc. This is a temp-to-hire position with an opportunity to become a permanent employee based on performance and attendance.
Steel toe or composite boots required
Cleanroom manufacturing environment

Weighing and handling raw materials to make dental paste
Mixing raw material batches
Documenting work on paper
Documenting work on computer using Oracle
Using measuring tools and small hand tools

Day in the life below:
The Manufacturing Team Member I will be responsible for performing tasks including operating tools and machinery to produce dental consumables, used to restore teeth in a highly regulated environment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Under close supervision, follows work instructions to produce dental consumables including setting up equipment, weighing material, loading mixing equipment, monitoring process, and completing all required documentation per quality policies and procedures.
Perform quality checks throughout the production process to avoid rework and scrapping of product and material.
Assist with inventory management by immediately replenishing supplies and reporting a shortage of materials.
Immediately report productivity and quality concerns to the appropriate personnel.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment and report any issues or concerns related to safety immediately.
Report damaged material, tooling and/or machinery to the appropriate personnel for prompt repair or replacement.
Independently complete all required training via computer and attend any required in-person training.
Adhere to all company policies and procedures including safety and quality.
Read, comprehend, and comply with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and Manufacturing Instructions (MIs).
Participate in continuous improvement activities through the Envista Business System (EBS) including Kaizens, 5S events, Standard Work workshops, Kanban, and Kamishibai.
Work overtime when needed.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
High school diploma or equivalent is highly preferred.
Minimum of six months of relevant work experience required.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Effective verbal and written communication skills in English required.
Ability to read and interpret written instructions in English required.
Basic computer skills required.
Basic mathematical skills including calculating measurements required.
Ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment required.
