Job description
Pieper Memorial Veterinary Center is looking for an experienced veterinary surgeon to join our hybrid ER/Specialty/Primary Care hospital in Middletown, CT.
Pieper's state-of-the-art facility includes multiple ultrasounds, wireless Fukuda Denshi telemetry, 64-slice CT, 1.5 T MRI, C-Arm with neurovascular platform, Maquet Servo-U ventilator with NAVA and volumetric capnography and minimally invasive surgical equipment. As an added bonus, we enjoy an Antech reference laboratory in the building with an on-site clinical pathologist.
Our specialty departments Internal Medicine, Neurology, Surgery, Diagnostic Imaging, Avian/Exotics, Emergency & Critical Care, and Oncology. We have a seasoned team of primary and emergency veterinarians, and our doctors are supported by dedicated technicians, assistants, and department-specific client liaisons.

Pieper Veterinary is committed to education and in addition to our rotating internships, specialty internships, and residencies partners with Middlesex Community College to provide clinical training for their AVMA accredited veterinary technology program.
Owned and operated by veterinarians since 1937, our family of hospitals in Connecticut include five primary care and one urgent care hospital.
