Function (Scope and Main Purpose of Job)
The position of Surveillance Shift Manager is responsible and accountable for the supervision of Surveillance Department team members.

Specific Responsibilities and Duties
- Supervises a team of Surveillance Supervisors, Operators and/or Technicians in performance of their duties on an assigned shift.
- Responsible for supervising the monitoring and operations of CCTV and alarm systems.
- Supervision of staff to include shift scheduling and maintaining proper staffing levels across all shifts.
- Supervises department team members and procedures for protecting casino assets and internal controls to ensure the safety and security of the team members and the guests.
- Review surveillance department actions, personnel and processes with the Manager.
- Understand all department operational logistics and supervise, monitor and report as appropriate.
- Meet with departmental management and leaders as necessary.
- Assist the Surveillance Technician on an as-needed basis with non-technical matters such as pulling cable, accessing panic alarms, accessing closets to reset electronic doors, etc.
Job Requirements (skills, knowledge, and abilities)
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid gaming license as determined by the State Gaming Agency for the position.
- Ability to analyze and interpret departmental needs and result.
- Ability to solve routine problems.
- Ability to maintain mental concentration for significant periods of time.
- Ability to perform assigned duties under frequent time pressure.
- Ability to work all shifts on a rotating basis as designated
Educational Requirements
- Two (2)- year degree or technical degree in a related fields or equivalent work experience in table games and casino surveillance.
Working Conditions
- 24/7 high energy casino with over 100,000 sq. ft of gaming and entertainment space and approximately 500 employees
- Exposed to alcohol, cigarette and cigar smoke, bright lights, and loud noises.
- You may occasionally work in an environment where smoking is allowed.
