Job Summary:

The Department of Music is accepting applications for an Events Coordinator. The Event Coordinator will Report to the Chair of the Department of Music. This position coordinates all events, performances, and presentations for the department. Duties will include, but are not limited to:

• Scheduling all aspects of department events and distributing them to ETSU calendars and promotional outlets.
• Serve as house manager as needed for any department events.
• Livestreaming, recording, and archiving all events.
• Scheduling and managing student workers to perform various support tasks for music events.
• Serve as primary liaison between the Department of Music and the Martin Center for the Arts, including box office, technical, and administrative staff.
• Publishing, editing, and archiving programs for all events.
• Work closely with Department Executive Aides to ensure that all administrative needs are covered.

This position requires a strong ability to communicate and collaborate with others across multiple areas on campus. Work hours will extend into nights and weekends to manage events and performances. Scheduled work time can be flexible during high demand for night and weekend duties.
