The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Department of Radiology is seeking a fellowship trained Musculoskeletal Radiologist and faculty member to serve as the Chief of Musculoskeletal Imaging. The selected candidate will be appointed at the level of Clinical Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor commensurate on experience.

UNC Radiology is committed to leadership in clinical patient care, education, innovation and research. The Chief position offers an outstanding opportunity for a motivated individual to build on the success of the distinguished section and enhance collaborations between internal and external partners. The selected candidate will hold responsibility and accountability for administrative and programmatic oversight of the clinical, research, educational, and service activities in Musculoskeletal Imaging in alignment with the department’s strategy, vision, mission and goals. Obligations include departmental leadership and administration, delivery of high-quality diagnostic care for patients, stewardship of educational and research programs in diagnostic radiology, and faculty mentoring. UNC Radiology is committed to leadership in clinical patient care, education, innovation, and research. Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:

Applicants must have an M.D. or equivalent degree and should have excellent qualifications in clinical care in addition to education or research. Applicants must be American Board of Radiology certified or eligible (or equivalent) and have completed a Musculoskeletal Imaging fellowship or equivalent subspecialty training, and eligible for a full North Carolina Medical License.

Preferred Qualifications, Competencies, and Experience:

Applicants must be well versed in all aspects of Musculoskeletal Imaging including radiography, fluoroscopy, CT, MRI, US and musculoskeletal interventional procedures.
